Can’t decide what the best part of this look is- the dress I wore to my bridal shower or the awesome ribbon bouquet my MOH made for me. She has a talent right?
I really really love this dress but what was interesting at my shower was that I received some compliments that were “I LOVE it” and some that were “I didn’t like it at first, but it’s starting to grow on me”. I always love when people actually do give me their true opinion when I dress because let’s be honest, no one gets it right all the time, and it’s fun to take a chance and see what everyone’s thoughts are. No one is ever going to agree right? But I love this dress and the way the different lace qualities are layered and pieced to create different sheer and opaque areas. I love the visual interest, and love that there are so many things to look at. For me, I would rather someone not like something I wear but be interested in it, than for someone to find it completely boring. So let’s all cross our fingers for what people think of my wedding dress…..
