This past weekend I was treated to the most wonderful, thoughtful and generous bridal shower by my family friends. They opened their beautiful home to a great group of guests, and treated us all to my idea of a good time – a wine tasting themed bridal shower. No typical girly baking party for me; the way to my heart is a glass of rosé and a cheese plate. Scroll through and you can see the delicious spread, from their famed pesto pasta to a bruschetta bar to the most beautiful and delicious lemon cake. Everyone decorated their own wine glass with glass pens, and took home favors of wine wipes (for your teeth!) and Napa themed bar towels. It was truly an amazing day and I was fortunate to have such great friends and family join in on the celebration.
The picture above cracks me up because that’s my mom and I laughing and making the exact same face! What a trip to see generational similarities like this-I’m sure there will be many more to come as the wedding gets closer.
