About Stefanie and The Style Safari

Stefanie The Style Safari

Stefanie Schoen

The Style Safari was created in February 2015, as a fun way to document my travels and create a place where I can share my passion for personal and interior style, as well as my sewing projects. Residing in San Francisco, California, with my husband Jeff, I also work as a Fitness Instructor, Photographer and Social Media Manager.

I have worked in the fashion and home décor industry as a Buyer and Merchant for 10 years, after pursuing a degree in Apparel Design and Business from Cornell University. Nowadays, when I am not behind the computer screen publishing new content, drawing, painting or designing and sewing my own clothing, I am traveling abroad, wine tasting in Napa and Sonoma with my husband, or being physical outdoors like snowboarding, playing tennis or stand-up paddle boarding. I am always trying new restaurants in the city and working on making the perfect matcha latte at home. I have always been an avid traveler, and I take my global excursions as inspiration for my line of fabric prints that I sell on Spoonflower and the items I make and sell sporadically on my website.

My goals are to constantly learn and live with panache, and I believe keeping your eyes and mind open is the best education. The name ‘the Style Safari’ came together through my obvious love of fashion and travel, and my constant search for new adventures and opportunities. In my style I love mixing high and low, stripes of all forms, classic colors and anything leather. I am not afraid of color and can find inspiration for a print or pattern out of anything!

If you are interested in working together I would love to connect, whether it be through collaborationsor just a friendly hello! Please email me at Stefanie@thestylesafari.com

Thank you and enjoy the Safari!

Hey Stef!
how are you?? I love StyleSafari, fun to look at with all your cute/bright exciting fashion. My work is graphic illustration, and I’d love you make one of your photos into an illustration. I am working on my portfolio for jobs that are interested in hiring me for freelance, I just want to get more images together. If youd like, send me a link or something of your fav looks, and I’d love to make it into ‘art’. Then you can show if on Style Safafi if you like it.

Hope all is great with you!!!

Could you please contact Carol by telephone regarding the upcoming appointment with Dr. Roth? I will forward to you her latest email. She wants to lock down the office appointment, etc.

While I have you, I want you to think about the following: There’s a boutique hotel in Manhattan that wants me to do a story on their hotel. It will involve meeting with the pr rep, an overnight stay in one of their rooms, getting the background info. etc. And no, you are not paying for it:)) (I would never ask to pay for something like that, especially when theyare the ones who contacted me. Thank about it…. And good luck and have fun with the sexy smile and suvara.

Hey girl,
I just left you a message on your facebook, but was trying to find a way to email you…I think this might be the best way to contact you.
So I was noticing that we use the same wordpress layout, but I saw that your left column where you post has a much wider pixel capability than mine does! That has been the most frustrating thing for me about this layout. I am so limited on my picture/collage sizes! Can I ask you PLEASE..how did you make your wider?!?? I’d LOVE to be able to do this to mine & not be frustrated by the size anymore.
Thank you so much! Hope you have a wonderful weekend. XO

Hi Stefanie!

I found your blog via a photography article on mashable.com- just awesome! I’m relatively new to the blogosphere but I’m so excited by all the possibilities that launching online will open up for my writing, as well as my brand and my hopes for the future! I’m definitely subscribing to your site via Bloglovin, if you’d like to check out my blog the address is http://www.makeabeautifulmess.blogspot.com. I’m still working on development and I’m considering moving to WordPress- any tips or tricks you might have would be SO appreciated!

Take care,

MJ x

Hi Stefanie,

Happy Wednesday! I wanted to reach out to you because I can’t stop scrolling through your Instagram and thought you would love my client’s app Heart is in. The app is a fun, easy and colorful way to send love to your boyfriend, best friend, or family without having to say a word, but by sending each other hearts! I use the app myself and personally like it to let my best friend know I’m thinking of her during a busy work day.

We’d love to send you more information about the app or the media kit for a possible feature. We think Heart is in would be perfect for your readers! Let me know if you’re interested.

Have a great rest of your day!

Hi Stefanie!
Love the blog and your new home! Can you tell me a little about how you looked for inspiration and put everything together. Did you do mood boards? Pinterest? Please, I need help!

Stefanie March 29, 2016 at 9:09 PM

Katie! Hey- glad you still visit the blog :) Hope all is well with you and your ADORABLE daughter!
What inspiration do you mean exactly? For home decor and room renovations? I do quite a bit on Pinterest and then I create collages of inspiration and ideas in order to extract the items I like the most. What space are you working on? Email me at stefschoen@gmail.com if you need any help- I would be happy to offer any advice!

Had a quick question regarding a fabric design of yours on Spoonflower. Was wondering what the color palette was before I order enough to do some reupholstery. Thanks
