If I had a dollar for every time someone made a comment about my new coat last night, I would have… like $4. But considering I was at a movie, that’s bank!
When buying coats we are always bogged down by 2 things, price and versatility. You may drool over that colorful embroidered coat, but then you think “how many times am I going to wear that?” and furthermore, you look at the price tag and you definitely know you are aren’t going to get the value for the price. That’s why I encourage you to buy great coats that you love on sale now. It may feel like winter is almost over, but for most of the country it really has only just begun, and wearing a fabulous new coat (not a boring black puffer) somehow makes the cold months more bearable. And that little worry about versatility? I am wearing the most simple outfit underneath this coat and it looks awesome. It will look equally as statement making over a short black dress, over jeans and a chambray shirt, or really over any other monochrome-ish outfit. So what’s my point? Nows the time, buy that dang coat!
