Temporary decor is often a thing for boring white apartments and dorm rooms, but even in a home you own, you may not exactly be sure of what style of paint/wallpaper/wall decor you want in your room. I am currently working on re-designing our second bedroom/office and want to test out a wall design that I am just not ready to make permanent. I change my mind so often and after finally getting all the fun-house colored walls in my house back to white, I am just not sure I’m ready to take the plunge into crazy color land all over again.
That said, I already came up with a design idea that I want to do but looked into ways of doing it without wallpaper or paint, and found tons of inspiration on Pinterest using Washi tape. I was skeptical to use a light tape for such large projects, as usually you see washi tape on paper goods and vases, not walls. However, looking at the ideas below I am blown away by how professional everything looks, and I can’t wait to try this in my own home to see how it turns out.

Have you ever used Washi tape for a large scale project like these? How did it turn out? Do you have any advice?
