I’m so excited to share with you our personalized and surprisingly inexpensive Bridesmaid and Groomsmen ‘Ask’ Gifts! Since Mr. R and I have a rather large wedding party spread throughout the USA, we wanted to make sure we did something affordable and easy to ship, but also personalized and representative of the couple.
First off- my Bridesmaid cookies! Cookies are my weakness. I consider myself a true connoisseur of good cookies (note to self- post idea!) and wanted to somehow incorporate my cookie obsession with my ‘maids. I had them custom made by Lindsey from ALittleSweeter shop on Etsy, and they were delicious! I know that often this type of cookie can be prettier to look at then to eat, but this was not the case with Lindsey’s cookies. I had 3 cookies made for each girl – one of the Golden Gate Bridge to signify where we are getting married, one of a champagne bottle with the date on it, and one of the Bride Emoji with their color hair (in hindsight I should have had them wear a color so they don’t look like brides, but I don’t have those details hammered out yet!)
I bought candy bags, labels and colored green twine from Michael’s, and placed them in a white box from container store to ship securely. Only the top of one champagne bottle broke while shipping so I consider that a success!! I’m so happy to have gotten this done because now I feel like we can really get the celebrations started!!
Next up- the Groomsman ‘ask’ gifts. Mr. R wears an array of crazy, brightly colored dress socks to work (ok, i’ll admit that might be my doing), so we thought it would be fun to get each groomsman a pair of socks that they could then wear the day of the wedding. Nordstrom Rack had an insane variety of Happy Socks, so we were able to nab up a different coordinating pair for each groomsman. The paper wrapping was extremely easy, as we created a simple template in powerpoint. Easy, fun and personalized!
