One of the trends I can’t get enough of this spring is statement earrings. For the past year or so, earrings have been trending, but more in the vein of tassels, fringe and pompoms. This season the earring grows up a bit (and maybe takes a break from the perpetual tropical vacation) and becomes more architectural, interesting, and whimsical.
Think of layered gold shapes mismatching ear to ear, robust 80’s style dangles, unexpected color combinations, oversize florals, and mixed materials to grace your ears this spring.
While I have a ton more on my wishlist, I thought I would share with you a few that I have already bought over the past few weeks. Personally I am loving bold color and whimsical shapes this season, in extremely oversize silhouettes. I have been growing my hair out so I can wear it in more ponytails, and these statement earrings will be the perfect accessory to match slick pulled-back hair.
