This week I wanted to do a more fun photo shoot than I typically do, taking a little sky blue inspiration from a few trends out there. For my outfit I took inspiration from the spring 2017 Celine runway show. You can see in this image the combination of sky blue, royal blue and bright red that inspired the look. Similar to the Celine look, I’ve color blocked this spring outfit with trapeze shapes with fullness at the hem for a modern feel. The red accents in the boots and bag pair beautifully with the shades of blue, a the finishing touch of modern gold hoops takes the glam level up a notch.
I find magazine ads so fun and inspiring so I wanted to incorporate more creative ideas into my shoots as well. This one is inspired by the Loewe puzzle bag, as it’s funky and architectural shape is the IT bag of the season, and I love the geometric shapes. I figured incorporating sky and the clouds was way to get the sky blue point across, and Im really happy with how interesting the images came out. I can’t wait to hear what you think!
