In my endless pursuit for ‘more is more’ tasteful style, I present you with this casual look that combines many of my favorite embellishments. These pom pom jeans are basically an unreal steal (new fave term) and I packed them with me in New York (my current locale) and everyone who saw them asked me if I made them myself. I wish I had! The pom pom trim alone would have cost $15 at Joann’s never mind what my time and sweat is worth. For $65… I’ll buy them and not think twice.
Then we move to my beaded tassel-y swingy top. It’s roominess makes it perfect for taco eating and margarita drinking… and guess what holiday is coming up for doing that? Yep, my third favorite holiday is right around the corner and I’m getting in the festive mood with some guacamole and tassels. yum.
And finally, my last festive item… this pom pom DIY hat that is coming soon to the blog. Since doing this popular DIY, I have enjoyed adhering my remaining bag of pom poms on pretty much anything hot-glueable, and since I have a bag of hideous straw hats in need of a re-boot, this was a fun project!
Do I think it’s too much together? Nope. I kept all the items to a similar color palette which keeps it cohesive and playful, without being over the top. And each item alone or together is perfect for any upcoming vacation, festival or concert. Which embellished piece is your favorite?
