Did you see my pom pom heel DIY from yesterday? I am obsessed with these shoes. Mr. R came in yesterday and asked me how much those cost with a groan… he was shocked to find that I DIY’d them! I just had to pair them up with this fun top I picked up recently, because well more pom pom is more pom pom.
I wonder if I will look back on these pictures and think… wow I was 30 years old and wearing pom poms on my toes. Maybe when I have kids, and then I will realize after glueing them on all my children’s things that they aren’t age appropriate? Who knows.
Anyway, I also am loving this kick-flare denim trend that has emerged as of late. I am getting SO SICK of skinny jeans I can’t even express. I don’t find them comfortable anymore and I hate how they are always too long on me and scrunch around my ankles. Sure I can hem them, but what a hassle. This kick flare trend is a bit weird… but like culottes we will just get used to it. It’s comfortable, no hemming required and shows off the shoes that I spent good money on. Or DIY’d. same thing. Anyway I got this pair on sale at H&M for $10 and I’ve worn them every day since I bought them so I’ve certainly got more than my money’s worth already!
H&M kick flare jeans (also this one with hem detail is nice), Pom Pom peplum camisole, Coach leather vest (similar here), DIY pom pom heels
