For my dad and my aunt’s birthday, I joined my parents for a day excursion on the Napa Valley Wine Train. It’s a 3 hour trip up and down the center of Napa Valley, where you are able to look outside and view some of the most famous vineyards in the region while sipping on wine and enjoying a gourmet 4 course meal.
I dolled myself up and bought a new dress for the occasion, which of course turned quite a few heads in casual Napa Valley. This bright orange Pheonix embroidered dress paired with metallic chartreuse heels is not typically a ‘west coast’ look – but I received tons of compliments and am absolutely obsessed with the pairing. And while the look is formal and loud, the loose shift shape of the dress is comfortable, as if you are wearing a chic embroidered muumuu!
I insta-debuted my new haircut last Friday, but I wore it straight in the image- this is the first time showing what it looks like with a little curl to it. I like to say I got this haircut on a well-thought-out WHIM. I knew I was going to cut my hair for a while but I didn’t really have a plan or any idea how to style it or take care of it. I have to say I am more than obsessed with the final result. My natural hair texture has a bit of a wave which really jives with this length, and I can even have bed head and quickly make it cute. And the best part is the little bitty pony tail- it’s so cute and SUCH a far cry from the long ponytail and bun I have dealt with for years. If you debating this chop, I say go for it! What do you think?
