It’s summa summa summa time which means most of us are wearing light colors such as white and soft pastels to show off our tans (yeah right). Well I’m here to provide an alternative suggestion. I love wearing white with light colors as much as the next girl, but pairing pastels and black for summer feels so much newer and fresher.
I love the contrast that pairing pastels and black gives you, and surprisingly both show off a tan pretty well. For me, the bonus is being able to re-wear something from my winter wardrobe again in summer. It may not be an off the shoulder top, but your favorite black party top from winter will feel brand new again paired with a much lighter and breezier summer skirt.
