Basically every day of my life now starts out the same, even if it’s different. Marina wakes up around 6:30, we putter around in bed for an hour, I make my coffee, we go on a walk, Marina takes a nap at 9am while I work or work out, and then we head out to errands after she eats at 11. Even if the activities shift, the same basic schedule is always the same. But even with a day to day consistent schedule, somehow the days are really never the same. I never know if Marina will go right to bed, leaving me with enough time to work out and shower, or if she will fuss, leaving me to get up and down from my desk for an hour. Although I try to take her on a walk every morning, some times we just play on her activity mat instead. My point? I pretty much live in outfits that allow me to workout on a whim, are comfortable for playtime, and allow me to work and get my errands done in style.
What is this magical outfit? Why, it’s the remade sweatsuit of yesteryear! Although it doesn’t say ‘Juicy’ on my tush in rhinestones, it’s essentially the same thing. Cute workout sets, in unexpected colors and prints, that allow me to be fashionable while on the run (or computer). I always pack one or two of these sets when I travel as well, as they are great for the plane, are warm, wrinkle-resistant, easy to wipe spit-up off of, and always get a few compliments/sideways glances. Listen, if I don’t make you look (good or bad) then I’m not doing my job, so I’m thrilled to be able to strike the right note of fashion and comfort every day of the week!
I’ve linked up a few of the looks I have with some other fun new versions, which seriously make the best gift for the mom (or free-lance/work from homer) in your life!
