A few years ago you couldn’t pay me to wear brown leather. But like any trend, things come into and out of fashion, and then likely come back in again. The style, quality and cut of these brown leather pants guarantees that they will stay in my wardrobe season after season because they are so classic, comfortable and chic.
I bought them in January and wear them at least once a week, as they somehow seem to go with everything. I actually have to stop myself from wearing them more often, as I realized that these pants with any chic sweater is an outfit made in heaven.
Out of the countless ways I’ve worn them, I highlight 3 different versions. One is with black and white heels and an over the top jacket, showing how you can layer texture and color for a date night or night out.
The second is paired back, with an easy knit top, and oversize cardigan, and white sneakers, which shows how even the most ‘dressy’ pant can easily convert to a weekend warrior.
The last look is somewhere in the middle, showing how this warm camel brown works perfectly with bright colors and blouses for a more work appropriate style. It would also look chic paired with pale blue, blush pink, yellow, navy, silver, animal print, and dark greens and khakis (so… almost anything).
The other element that makes these pants comfortable and work with everything is the cut. They have a cropped length which means you can wear them with almost any shoe, and they hit at the natural waist which lengthens the leg. I love the wider cut of the leg too, which is extremely comfortable and versatile, so much so that I’ve basically been looking for this type of cut in all my jeans and pants lately!
