Hot summer nights and casual settings mean finding the perfect breezy tiered dress that’s comfortable but formal enough for dinner and drinks. I have spent a lot of time this summer in Dallas and Lake Tahoe, where it stays warm into the late evening (or all night!) and a long sleeve tiered dress has been my go-to for every event. These dresses tend to have a printed chiffon layer over a solid slip, allowing for security in strong breezes and slight warmth in air-conditioned locales.
I picked up this particular tiered dress on a whim last week while scrounging Target for my monthly binge, and couldn’t pass it up. The soft lilac color is perfect for casual summer nights, and the fitted bodice gives enough of a shape while remaining voluminous.
What’s the best part? Obviously that it came from Target! I love good design from all places, high and low, but you can’t complain when you find a tiered dress this good for only $29.99. Better yet, the entire outfit is under $100! The sunglasses are from a Target run a few months ago (love these as well), and the sandals were a recent purchase, on sale for $12. The hat was picked up at H&M in Chicago a few weeks ago and I believe it was $19.99. Although I don’t see it online, I’m sure it’s at your local store.
