I shared some of my latest clean skincare products a few weeks ago, so now it’s time to share some of my clean body and bath products as well.
Most of these products I have been using for a long time and just now am rounding up together with a few new items I’ve added to my repertoire for summer.
Love Beauty and Planet Shampoo and Conditioner
Let it be known that this is my second set of shampoo and conditioner from Love Beauty and Planet – which is shocking considering most clean haircare products I’ve tried haven’t survived in my shower longer than a week. My hair is extremely dry from bleaching (although I’m growing that out!) so I am pleasantly surprised by how well the Coconut and Ylang Ylang Shampoo and Conditioner range hydrates my hair, smells amazing, and still allows me to go a few days between washings (some conditioners overdo it and then I’m super greasy). The brand uses recycled packaging, watches their carbon footprint, uses fair trade and sustainable sourcing partners, AND is super affordable! Next on my list is trying their dry shampoo because that stuff just feels terrible for the environment when you use it, right?
Coola SPF 30 Matte Tinted Face Moisturizer, SPF 30 Body Lotion, and SPF 50 Lip Balm
When I went to Hawaii recently I was given a travel bag of Coola products upon checking in to my hotel and fell in love with the products for my SPF needs. I liked them so much that I decided to buy their Matte Tinted Face Moisturizer, as I wanted something with light coverage that I can wear every day in Hawaii and Tahoe, without having to put any additional makeup on. While their products are a bit more expensive than your typical drugstore sunscreens, they are all at least made up of 70% certified organic ingredients and their mineral sunscreens range are free of the harmful chemicals in most sunscreens.
Lather Almond, Milk & Honey Body Butter
I’m a sucker for delicous scents and thick, thick cremes for my dry skin, and this one does not disappoint. I’ve been known to hoard lotions in scents that I love, and I can see myself having one of these in every room in my house. I use a lot of lather bath and body products, but this one might actually be my favorite to date, because it feels so luxurious putting it on and yes… it also, you know, works. Plus, all Lather products are free of parabens, sulfates, mineral oil and synthetic fragrance and colors.
EVER Skincare Lemon Sugar Body Polish and Body Butter
I love this EVER body butter equally as much as the Lather one, so basically every day I alternate between the two. I can’t quite put my finger on the smell, but it smells extremely luxe, and the rich texture helps again with my incredibly dry skin. I also love the Lemon Sugar Body Polish because it’s a delicious in-shower solution to soften dry skin and help with the bumps on the back of my arms (and loofahs get real nasty and full of bacteria over time so pleasseeee replace yours if you’re still using one!). You can buy both of these through one of my loyal followers, Cristina, who introduced me to the brand!
Ursa Major Hoppin Fresh Deodorant
If you’re looking for a clean deodorant, I strongly suggest trying out Ursa Major’s offering. Although not as inexpensive as some other brands, I feel strongly that this one works the best. I’ve had some weird rashes from one less expensive brand, and horrible scents from another, but this one is just fresh, clean and no frills. I also like the round shape of it, the application is so smooth and easy I have to wonder why no big name brand is doing that? Keep in mind that there are no clean anti-perspirants yet, only deodorants, so if you’re concerned about soaking pits than this still might not be the product for you!
