In this part 3 of a 3 part series, I show you how to take the pattern that you have already created and sew a finished top. We will go over the order of operations for what to do first, as well as proper seam finishes for satin and organza, french seams, interfacing, and how to sew a cuff!
Part 1: I show you how to take the draping skills you have learned already to drape a gathered neck, backless top with a raglan sleeve. We will explore draping gathers, which can be done into any seamline and how fullness effects the grainline of the fabric.
Part 2: You will learn how to turn this muslin drape into a paper pattern, and how to use the slash and spread flat pattern method to turn the basic raglan sleeve into a blouson sleeve with a cuff.
