Just another outfit of my favorite bold colors; emerald green and bright blue. You know by now I ‘collect’ clothing and accessories in my favorite hues. Emerald green, cherry red, mustard yellow, bright blue and stripes of all colors are staples in my wardrobe. Therefore you can imagine my excitement when I spotted these STRIPED BLUE AND GREEN sneakers on sale over Black Friday! Aren’t they awesome?
Not only do they match everything in my wardrobe but they are so so comfortable and look cute with pretty much everything. More and more I am gravitating toward interesting and cool sneakers as opposed to heels. They fit with my newly casual lifestyle but I make sure to search for really interesting pairs so that I still don’t blend in. I wouldn’t want to do that now would I?
Pairing the sneaks with my faux leather pleated skirt from last week, an old striped sweater I had and my infamous J.crew green coat finished off the emerald green and bright blue look. Seriously I have owned this coat for 6 years now and it never ceases to get attention. J.Crew still sells the same fabric and silhouette to date so it must be one of their best sellers! While they don’t have it in this bright green anymore, they do have it in a beautiful bold blue!
The ironic thing about putting this look together was that for once I had TOO many blue and green items to choose from! I guess that I’ve finally met my wardrobe goals- having too many things that go together! When you ‘collect’ colors in your wardrobe, you find that outfit combinations are endless.
