Every year I travel on 4th of July and always pack red, white and blue in order to make things easy for the entire weekend. But I’m getting sick of the same old ripped white denim shorts and chambray blouses, so thought I would make an attempt to dress patriotically while still being chic and work-appropriate. I received a lot of compliments when I wore this outfit earlier this week- in particular the white culottes. While although controversial (see my diatribe here) the volume and lines they add are so much more sophisticated than white jeans.
And how awesome are these photos? Angie and I did a few errands before work the other day and she took these quickly in the middle of Union Square. Killed it, am I right?
