Whew! I am finally back from my honeymoon (I arrived last night after a flight cancellation and being rerouted through 4 airports) and could not be happier to be back on US soil. I absolutely loved my trip and can’t wait to share it on the blog in the coming days, but for now I am thrilled to be back in my own bed, use my own nespresso, and catch up on all things blog.
I wore this outfit on one of our last nights in Uluwatu, which is a cliffside coast on the southern tip of Bali. It was extremely humid and we had to be extremely clever and careful with the camera- it kept fogging up! Luckily we got these photos which I think turned out fantastic. I really love this outfit as I think it is beach chic at its finest. Cutaway pants with lace detail and a round hem mimic the round hem of the white top and sleeves. Although when standing this outfit can appear oversize and demure, when you sit down, the leg reveal gives plenty of breathing room on hot vacation nights. Finally, the off the shoulder cut has been a trend now for a while, but I love it for a vacation destination as up can throw on some oversize tropicana-tups earrings and get away with not so perfect hair.
Uluwatu Balinese lace pants (picked up on my trip), Shein white off the shoulder top, J.crew earrings (also loved this and this pair), Coach sandals (old).
