This outfit came together quite organically. You’ve already seen me wear these striped shorts here, and I like to hang my new favorite pieces on my grid wall in my office. Once I bought this striped top and hung it up there next to the shorts…. well a little magic happened.
Once I saw the 2 pieces together, I just went to town, layering as much black and white as I possibly could. I think my favorite part of the outfit are actually these glass bead bracelets that I now wear every day. They are made by Lily and Laura, a company that supports women artisans in Kathmandu by helping them receive better than fair wages in order to help their families and communities. I love how many different colors and patterns the bracelets come in, and how easy they are to just slip onto your wrists. I am now obsessed with layering them and can’t wait to grow my collection.
