This weekend I posted some of the things on my wishlist from the Net a Porter sale, and this skirt was definitely high on that list!
The fabric is made of a perfect heavy stretch knit, which is totally comfortable for weddings, work, etc., but looks refined and sophisticated because of the weight and the detailed scalloped edges on the waist and hem. It’s rare you get so much detail in a knit skirt like this, which makes it the perfect summer purchase to wear for a variety of occasions.
I matched it here with a bright yellow off the shoulder blouse to tie in with the stripe pattern, but just think of how versatile it would be with green, pink, white or black as well. And did I mention that it’s my husband’s new favorite item of clothing in my wardrobe? Probably because it’s tight… but ehh, what can you do?
