I have a particular fondness for this look, as the t-shirt is one piece of the last collection I worked on at Coach. I remember all the debate surrounding this particular t-shirt, regarding the design, production and the price, and for some reason I feel like it really represents all that I worked on while I was working on building and growing the Coach 1941 line.
While this outfit/post is in no way sponsored by Coach, I can say with pride that I am happy and proud of the transformation we/they were able to make with the brand. If you follow any big bloggers on histogram no doubt you saw their huge Dinky bag campaign for mother’s day, and I bet you’ve seen quite a bit of the 1941 clothing line on celebrities through social and print media. The look is fun, youthful and eclectic, all while being practical and familiar. No doubt that’s what we all strive for in our clothing- something that looks unique and fun, but wears easily, like a shearing coat or this print applique t-shirt.
The rest of the look mirrors the playfulness in the t-shirt; an easy bright a-line skirt perfect for a sunday stroll, a jean jacket adorned with fun and unique pins, a practical bright cross body bag, oversize marble sunglasses, and my every day white sneaker. Each piece is familiar in silhouette and material, comfortable to wear, but the combination of color and texture makes it a unique look for every day.
