Instagram accounts like everything else have an ebb and flow, and every few months I find myself obsessing over a few accounts, whether for the fashion, the color story, or the lifestyle. Some of them might be new to you, some not, but regardless they are all doing something I love right now.
The Style Bungalow
Stephanie’s account is blowing up right now and it’s easy to see why. She has fully embraced her west palm beach roots and taken it to the next level with her colorful and exotic travels. I am obsessed with how she styles her looks, the dreaminess of her photos and her short hair (I was never able to execute that length). Her account is basically the main reason I have such wanderlust right now.
TheFashionBugBlog
I follow a lot of mom blogger accounts, but there are only a few that actually inspire me. Laura’s quintessential London lifestyle with her two perfectly groomed daughters is 50% of the life I want to lead, which completely entrances me. Her style is overtly feminine but somehow still easily replicated, and she does a great job of incorporating her daughters into her content without exploiting them.
EarthyAndy
The other 50% of the life I want to lead? Well, that’s Andy, who lives on the North Shore of Oahu with a plant based, natural lifestyle and three insanely tan and blond little surfer sons. Since my brothers were born on Oahu and my dad’s business was based there for much of my life, I’ve always been drawn to the lifestyle, and assumed that some time in my life I will move there. Andy’s colorful acai bowls, carefree hair and surfer bod almost make me forget I have pale skin and hate to swim.
SeaofShoes
Jane is a blogger OG and someone I have followed for years. However, I never get sick of her eclectic taste and vintage shopping finds. Her styling skills always make me look twice, and I absolutely love that she isn’t in the blogging game to make money off of clicks (you can’t when you wear vintage or one-off pieces) which means everything she does is for her. So fresh.
OfficialQuigley
Speaking of fresh, I just found this bubbly blogger and just love her silly take on fashion and travel. I am particularly inspired by how she incorporates sponsored content seamlessly into her feed, and finds ways to work with brands that I never could have imagined looking as good as they do. From a blogger standpoint, it really makes me think of ways to make my own content more consistent.
TheMakerista
A newly found (for me) interior designer, Gwen is going room by room renovating her traditional home and the results ARE DROOLWORTHY. I love how she and her husband work together to renovate their home, and appreciate the design risks they take with colors and patterns, especially her kitchen! Living in California where everyone wants light, white and neutral interiors, following her gives me newfound resolve to take some bigger risks in my own home.
NinaSandBech
Nina isn’t a ‘typical’ scandi with minimalist style- she loves color, overt shapes and creative visual design, all of which inspire me. I love that her instagram reads a bit like a collage; sometimes she layers prints, sometimes she cuts out figure, sometimes its just a regular photo. But it reminds me that instagram is there for us to express ourselves and we don’t always have to be/do one thing. I also appreciate that she sews! Although she doesn’t do it that often (I get it), I look forward to every piece she makes.
KellyWearstler
If you haven’t heard of her already you really shouldn’t be reading my blog. Seriously. Kelly has always been one of my favorite interior designers and since she started working on hotels (one is in San Francisco) I have renewed my obsession with her. I am constantly inspired by her use of color and print layering in the home, but I’m not sure I would ever have the cajones (or cash) to decorate a home in her style. But instagram is for dreamers, right?
AllThatIsShe
Dominique and her family jump through incredible hoops to #doitforthegram. Her #Scenesfromtheceiling are creative masterpieces and how she wrangles her kids to produce at least one of them a week is beyond my comprehension! Being a creative and a new mom, it reminds me that you can both inspire your children and incorporate them into your life simultaneously.
