4 Tips to Sewing with Silk

In this short video I give my 4 best tips for sewing with silk or slippery fabrics, and how to make your projects look more professional. The tips:

1. Use a rotary cutter and weights to cut out your fabric, instead of scissors

2. Finish all of your edges before sewing any seams to prevent fraying or pulling

3. Change the needle on your machine, making sure to use a smaller gauge, like a 60 or 70

4. Press every seam AS YOU GO
