This weekend I was shopping at our local mall when I noticed that every seat in every store that did makeup consultations was packed with frenzied teen girls getting their makeup done for prom. Then I got a chuckle out of yesterday’s IFB post on blogger’s prom dresses. It was definitely a sign that today’s post should be focused on my own epic prom, dates and all. While I did not partake in getting my makeup done (clearly), I did make my dress. To this day I actually still like the color and cut of my dress, but when you see it, remember that J.Lo’s famous Versace 2-way slit (read: hooker) dress had just come out and was all the rage. I still maintain that my dress was appropriate-although I might have had double-sided tape protecting my fellow limo riders from a peep show.
